Factory

One focused place for every factory task.

Use a phone or tablet for assigned production tasks, barcode-assisted picking, time capture, receiving, packing and shipping.

Give an operator the current task and the details needed to finish it.

What it helps you do

What your team can do in Olonka.

  • Keep each operator focused

Show the production and warehouse work assigned to the signed-in person and station.

  • Record what happened on the task

Capture picked ingredients, task status, operation time, output and handover notes.

  • Use one app across the floor and warehouse

Run receiving, picking, packing and shipping work alongside production tasks.

Station access

Activate the station once, then let each operator sign in.

Factory is separate from the manager interface. A manager activates the tablet or workstation for the workspace and named operators use a personal identification number (PIN) to open the work they are allowed to run.

  • Activate a shared station without giving every operator the manager interface.
  • Use named operator profiles and individual PIN access.
  • Limit the visible work to the operator and station context.
Activate the shared station once; each operator opens only their own work.

Production tasks

Run the operation and leave a clear record behind.

Operators open an assigned task, pick the required ingredients and move the operation through its working states. Factory records the task time and accepts notes for the next person or manager.

  • Start, pause, resume and finish the assigned operation.
  • Pick ingredients with barcode assistance where matching barcodes are available.
  • Record operation time, finished quantity and task notes.
Factory records the task as the operator runs it.

Warehouse tasks

Use the same focused experience for stock moving in and out.

Warehouse operators can receive goods, pick and pack customer orders and record shipments from their devices. Required tracking details stay part of each step.

  • Receive purchase order quantities into the right location and storage.
  • Pick and pack the stock required for a customer fulfillment.
  • Record shipment and select batch, serial, or storage details when required.
Receive, pick, pack and ship from a focused operator queue.

Factory workflow

From station sign-in to recorded completion.

Factory guides the operator through the task while the underlying order and inventory records stay connected.

  1. Activate the station

Connect the tablet or workstation to the workspace and the work it will run.

  2. Sign in with a PIN

The named operator opens the production or warehouse tasks available to them.

  3. Run the task

Pick or receive the required stock, use tracking details and record progress and notes.

  4. Finish the work

Complete the operation or warehouse step so its time, quantity and stock effect are recorded.

Start with the next task

Put focused work in front of the people doing it.
